Security is the hot topic and for good reason. We are marching quickly down the road to e-payments and eliminating cash and plastic. It’s not yet here but within 3  years it will be far more common and within 5 it may become the dominant payment method in the US.
Apple invested a lot in their new fingerprint reader but is it really secure and useful? There has already been stories of hacking through this security. Lifehacker answers a reader’s question about it as well. My take is that this is a new and emerging field and it will take these 5 years to learn what works and how to best secure not only our devices but our authority to spend money.
